﷽
*Day 14:*
1. *Learn Sūrah Falaq*:
This is a very important sūrah for protection. Nabī ﷺ has said “Some āyāt have been revealed to me the likes of which have not been seen: ‘_Qul a’ūdhu bi-Rabbin-nās_’ until the end of the sūrah and ‘_Qul a’ūdhu bi-Rabbil-Falaq_’ until the end of the sūrah.” [_Tirmidhī Sharīf_]
2. *Sunnah du’ā for today*:
اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يَنْفَعُنِي حُبُّهُ عِنْدَكَ
O’ Allāh swt, grant me Your love and the love of those whose love will benefit me with You. [_Tirmidhī Sharīf_]
3. *Sunnah ‘amal of the day:*
Hadrat ‘Ā’isha (ra) narrates that when Nabī ﷺ would go to bed, he used to blow on his hands while reciting the muawwidhāt ( i.e. Sūrah Falaq 113 and Sūrah Nās 114) and then pass his hands over his body. (_Muslim Sharīf_)
4. Pray *2 rak’āt nafl salāh* anytime today to show gratitude to Allāh swt for His innumerable favours. Make du’ā thereafter for Allāh swt to make you amongst the shākirīn (those who are grateful). Allāh swt has said in Qur’ān, ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you (in favour).’
5. *Smile* – It was narrated by a sahābī, “I have not seen anyone who smiled more than Rasūlullāh ﷺ” [_Tirmidhī Sharīf_]
6. *Muhāsabah*
Do we backbite? Rasūlullāh ﷺ has said, “Do you know what backbiting is?” The sahāba kirām said: “Allāh and His Messenger know better.” Thereupon, he said, “Backbiting is talking about your (Muslim) brother in a manner which he dislikes.” It was said to him: “What if my (Muslim) brother is as I say.” He said, “If he is actually as you say, then that is backbiting; but if that is not in him, that is slandering.” [_Muslim Sharīf_]
7. *Bonus*:
Recite Sūrah Ikhlās 3 times:
Rasūlullāh ﷺ has said, “Sūrah Ikhlās is equivalent to one-third of the Qur’an.” [_Muslim Sharīf_]
