_Bismillāh_
*Day 12:*
1. *Learn Sūrah Lahab (Masad)*:
This sūrah demonstrates the ultimate end of those who stand against the truth of Islam due to arrogance.
2. *Sunnah du’ā for today*:
Du’ā to be recited when seeing something which is pleasing (or when seeing your spouse and children):
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
All praise is due to Allāh swt by whose blessings all good things are accomplished [_Hisn Hasīn_]
3. *Sunnah ‘amal of the day:*
Use a miswāk today before any salāh. Nabī ﷺ has said: “Were it not that it would be too difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwāk at (the time of) every salāh.” [_Muslim Sharīf_]
4. *Pray *2 rak’āt nafl salāh* anytime today and thereafter make du’ā that you become the lover and beloved of Allāh swt.
5. *Can you think of anyone who is sick?*
It has been reported that Nabī ﷺ said, “When a Muslim visits a sick Muslim at dawn, 70,000 angels keep on praying for him till dusk. If he visits him in the evening, 70,000 angels keep on praying for him till the morning; and he will have (his share of) reaped fruits in Jannah.” [_Tirmidhī Sharīf_]
6. *Muhāsabah*
Do we argue a lot?
Nabī ﷺ has said, “I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Jannah for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he was in the right, a house in the middle of Jannah for a man who avoids lying even if he was joking, and a house in the upper part of Jannah for a man who made his character good.” [_Abū Dāwūd Sharīf_]
7. *Bonus*:
Seek the hour where one’s prayers are answered today!
Rasūlullāh ﷺ has said: “There is a time on Friday at which no Muslim would stand and pray and beg Allah for what Is good, but He swt would give it to him; and he pointed with his hand that (this time) is short and narrow.” [_Muslim Sharīf_].
In another narration, he mentioned, “It is the last hours of the day.”
