_Bismillāh_
*Day 16

1. *Make an intention to memorise the first 10 āyahs of Sūrah Kahf (18)*
Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf, he will be protected from the Dajjāl.” (_Muslim Sharīf_)

2. *Sunnah du’ā for today*:
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Hadrat Anas (ra) narrates that Rasūlullāh ﷺ would often say: ‘_yā muqallibal qulūb, thabbit qalbī ‘alā dīnik_ (‘O Changer of the Hearts!, strengthen my heart upon Your Religion.)’ So I said: ‘O’ Rasūlullāh, we believe in you and what you have come with, but do you fear for us?’ He said: ‘Yes. Indeed the hearts are between two Fingers of Allah’s Fingers, He changes them as He wills.’

3. *Sunnah ‘amal of the day:*
Eat the leftovers i.e. what remains of food (at the bottom of the pot).
Hazrat Anas (ra) said, “Rasūlullāh ﷺ liked to eat the remains i.e. what was was left from the food.”[_Shamā’il Tirmidhī_]

4. Pray *2 rakat nafl salāh* and thereafter, make du’ā that Allāh swt gives us tawfīq to spend these last few days of Sha’bān in preparation for Ramadān.

5. *Say something nice to someone about Allāh swt today.*
Rasūlullāh ﷺ has said, ‘It is also a form of sadaqah to utter a good word’ [_Bukhārī Sharīf_]

6. *Muhāsabah*
Do we keep our promises?
Allāh swt has said in Qur’ān, “O’ you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do? Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do.” [61:2-3]
It is also mentioned in hadīth that one of the signs of a hypocrite is that he breaks his promises. [_Bukhārī Sharīf_]

7. *Bonus*:
Recite Sūrah Yā Sīn:
Rasūlullāh ﷺ said: “Indeed for everything there is a heart, and the heart of the Qur’ān is Yā Sīn. Whoever recites Yā Sīn, then for its recitation, Allāh writes for him that he recited the Qur’ān ten times.” (_Tirmidhī Sharīf_)
